Representation is how the author portrayed their “version of reality” of something. It is depicted in a particular way.

Usage

The text constructs a {description} representation of {subject}

The text represents {subject} as {description}

Examples of what might be represented

• Gendered Groups (men/women/trans/non-binary)
• Cultural or Ethnic groups
• Classes (upper class, middle class, working class etc.)
• Age groups (Children, teengaers, adults, the elderly)
